 The Conference Committee The MYNA conference committee is in collaboration with ISNA Canada. As a group we plan a 2 day conference, which takes place during the long May weekend. The days are filled with sessions and workshops with speakers from all around the world, such as Br. Yusuf Islam and Imam Siraj Wahaj. Our goal is to present to the youth who attend these conferences a program that is interesting and Islamically beneficial. We hope that after listening to the sessions, they will become closer to Islam and gain a deep love and devotion for the deen. It is our greatest hope that after the conference they will implement the many elements and issues of Islam taught at the conference in their everyday lives.
This past year we held our 26th Annual Canada conference, and the MYNA program contained sessions such
as "Balancing the Deen & Dunya" with Br. Muneer Al Kassam, and "An-Nisaa: Their Essence in Islam" with Sheik
Abdullah Al-Adhami. Alhumdulillah over 500 youth attended and all of the sessions were filled. Insha'allah
they will have learned much and will go on and teach others what they learned.
