WHAT'S DA'WAH BEEN UP TO?

Alhamdulillah MYNA's da'wah committee has successfully completed two projects since September. Near the beginning of the school year we made packages of books titled, "Islam's Message to Jews and Christians," "Why we Embraced Islam," and "He is Allah the God," and donated them to various schools.

On March 19, MYNA in accordance with the MSA's of the GTA presented our first unity Eid dinner. Approximately 400 people were present. Our guest speakers were Dr. Mahdi and Br. Abdulrahman Malik. We also enjoyed some great entertainment from Br. Dawud Warnsbry, Br. Adnan Serajeldin and Br. Ali from McMaster University. We also had a fun children's program which consisted of games, prizes, face painting and loot bags. We would like to thank everyone who helped plan this event and most importantly, we'd like to thank everyone who came to our event and supported us. |
